About our Camps

HCL Activity Camps Ltd (the sister company of Holloway Coaching Ltd) has been created due to continued growth. The decision to operate as two companies was taken so that we can plan and deliver the best value holiday activity camps available. We want as many children as possible to enjoy our camps, especially with the increasing cost of living having an impact on all our lives.

We offer a great selection of activities, sports, games, arts & crafts, plus theme days and parties. Sporty? Creative? Both? Our aim is to appeal to the widest possible audience with maximum value so everyone attending has a great time, learns new skills and makes new friends.

What to expect

HCL Activity Camps Ltd operate from a number of different settings across Brentwood, Romford and Thurrock during all school holidays. We are working hard to increase the areas we service, so watch this space!

Camps are suitable for children from 5-11 years old and they will work in small age-based groups. We feel variety is the key and will offer a number of different sports, games and activities each day with the emphasis on fun, engaging, skills-based sessions. Regular themed days/afternoons are a staple of our camps and range from Football World Cups, Talent Shows, Arts and Crafts, Easter and Halloween specials, plus Christmas parties and everything in between!

HCL Activity Camps Ltd are proud to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme in Essex.

We partner with Active Essex and Havering HAF to ensure as many eligible children as possible can access our HAF camps. These camps are funded by the Department for Education and the primary target audience is children in receipt of benefits related free school meals (BRFSM). So, if your child is in receipt of BRFSM, they automatically qualify for funded places. There is also some additional scope for children from low-income working families, or recommended by the school to qualify for funded places.

The HAF camps are usually combined with our paid camps so everyone experiences the same great variety of activities including different sports, games and activities each day with the emphasis on fun, engaging, skills-based sessions. Regular themed days/afternoons are a staple of our camps and range from Football World Cups, Talent Shows, Arts and Crafts, Easter and Halloween specials, plus Christmas parties and everything in between!

We also build a nutritional education component into these camps to help the children understand ways they can help to keep themselves healthy.
